This new gallery depicts WW II events through the use of military miniatures and models. Our displays are set up to tell the story of both the large and small events of the war. In addition, World War II posters, prints, other media items and related military artifacts are also displayed. Events of the war are depicted from the attack on Pearl Harbor to the dropping of the Atomic Bombs on Japan. Other displays and exhibits include the Doolittle Bomber Raid on Tokyo, the Flying Tigers in China, the Battle for Iwo Jima, Paratroopers on D-Day, the B-17 Bomber Memphis Bell, the Battle of the Bulge, General Patton on the move in Europe, the Battle for North Africa against Rommel’s Africa Corps, Operation Market Garden known as “A Bridge to Far” and others. It is our intention to update and add new exhibits to the Gallery keeping it both fresh and alive.
