Falling Back: When Does Daylight Savings Time End In Wall?

The annual autumn changing of the clocks is just around the corner.

It’s that time again: Time to bundle up for those evening soccer practices, time to prepare for those shorter days; time to face those evening commutes in the dark.

Halloween weekend not only will bring parties and trick-or-treating, but it also brings the end of Daylight Saving Time for 2015.

Before you fall into a blissful sugar coma from all those mini Hershey bars on Halloween night, roll your clocks back one hour, because Daylight Saving ends at 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 1. That means an hour less of sunlight in the evening. It also means more light to start your day.

Hate those shorter days? Keep this in mind: It’s only about six weeks until the winter solstice -- the shortest day of the year -- on Dec. 22., and from there the days will get longer again.

Look on the bright side: Daylight Saving returns on Sunday, March 13, 20 weeks from now.
