Handgun, Hollow-Point Bullets Lead To Arrests In Wall: Police

Two men with Florida addresses and a man with a California address were arrested following a motor vehicle stop, police said.

WALL, NJ — Three people face weapons charges after Wall Township police found a handgun in their vehicle during a traffic stop last week.

Sean Mrorzowski, 21, of Springhill, Florida; Gage Mrorzowski, 23, of Brooksville, Florida, and Joseph Hosking, 41, of Anderson, California, all were arrested Oct. 10, Wall Capt. Greg Carpino said in a news release.

Patrolman Tim Margadonna and Patrolman Mike Tancredi pulled the vehicle over on Route 138 shortly before 4 p.m. on Oct. 10 near New Bedford Road, and an ensuing investigation uncovered the gun. The brand and caliber of handgun were not specified.

They were charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of hollow-point ammunition, possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia, Carpino said.

In addition, Hosking had an active warrant issued for his arrest out of Middletown Township in the amount of $681, Carpino said.

Sean Mrorzowski and Gage Mrorzowski were released on complaint summons with a pending court. Hosking was turned over to the Middletown Township Police Department in default of bail.
