Wall Township police are warning residents to lock their vehicles at all times after a string of thefts over the weekend.

Lt. Pete Lokerson said police investigated several thefts over the weekend that occurred in the Shark River Manor section of Wall, on Juliette Drive, Pomerton Road and Slocum Avenue. Some of the vehicles entered were parked on the street, others were parked in driveways. In all cases the vehicles that were entered were unlocked, he said.

The thefts occurred overnight Saturday into Sunday, he said. Various miscellaneous personal property was removed from the vehicles.
