The investigation revealed that Arneth was westbound in the right lane on Route 33 when he rear-ended a vehicle ahead of him, Carpino said.

The driver of that vehicle, a 38-year-old man from Howell, was injured in the accident and taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, by Wall Township EMS for treatment, Carpino said. The injury was not life-threatening, he said.
