MISSION ACCOMPLISHED IN THE MUD!!

Well, bring on the noise and the dirt! As the youngest contracted factory rider for the BRP CAN AM TEAM, 18 yr old  Nick Gennusa has now claimed bragging rights to his 7th National Championship Title in the AMA ATV MOUNTAIN DEW NATIONALS, and ranked 4th in points in his first rookie season in the PRO AM division. But, his career certainly did not start out at this speed. He was taught by his father, Andrew Gennusa, an avid ATV and Dirt bike enthusiast, to ride when he was just three years old. He was taught on the smallest, two mph, governor controlled  ATV, when his hands were so tiny he couldn't reach the brakes. So his Dad would follow him around for hours until Nick said he was done. Yet, Nick always wanted more. This went on for several years until Nick asked his parents Carole and Andrew Gennusa, if he could "race people"? Let's just say after placing 8th on a gate of 16, he was hooked, or should we say " full throttle". Then in 2006, he got his first taste of being on top winning a local District 6 70cc and the 90cc Production Divisions. He then asked for more saying, "I want to race kids that are better than me". So, 2007 brought on the WPSA (World Power Sports Association) where Gennusa once again took a double title in the same 70 and 90 Divisions, but with much more advanced riders from across the country. He was also balloted the "WPSA 2007 Rider of the Year", and featured as the pull-out poster in the October issue of QUAD MAGAZINE! Although 08' and 09' were not the banner years Nick wanted due to motor issues, he still ranked in the top 5 in the entire country as he moved on to the most elite AMA ATVA NATIONAL SERIES, thus taking the 2010 Supermini Championship title home. While recovering from a shortened 2011 season due to an injury, 2012 is when Gennusa devoured three of the four "A"Division Titles, then was once again balloted as the "2012 Rider of the Year". Gennusa's training includes a lot of practice riding at undisclosed areas, physical training including a high protein diet, and most of all an extreme amount of focus and discipline. Nick has sacrificed on his own will, many parties, social gatherings, a wedding, and even his Senior Prom to not miss a race, because then he would jeopardize losing the sacred points which determine a Championship by only one point in either direction. But no worries, Nick is an extremely well liked and well known attribute on the National Race circuit graced with many friends and fans of all ages alike, anywhere from the East Coast to Texas, and even Argentina. His social life is one that is amazing, and he developed that amongst the national race community, as well as locally too. His recent return after the final Round 10 in Tennessee, had Nick invited to film an upcoming movie called "MOTOBUTTER", to be released October 2013, featuring a handful of the top ATV and dirt bike riders, available via itunes, etc. Please visit www.nickgennusa.com
