The Monmouth County DWI Task Force announced it will be conducting a DWI checkpoint to detect drivers under the influence of alcohol and or drugs beginning at 10 p.m. Friday and running through 2 a.m. Saturday on Route 138, said Brielle Police Chief Michael W. Palmer, the task force coordinator.
