Nurses from China Visit Jersey Shore University Medical Center
Delegation tour provides an inside look at health care in the U.S.
Representatives from Hackensack Meridian Health assisted as tour guides for a group of nurses visiting NJ from three hospitals in China. The group visited Jersey Shore University Medical Center and had the opportunity to hear from nursing leadership and see how patient care is delivered in areas such as medical/surgical, intensive care, and the emergency department.
The six-person delegation was comprised of the director of nursing and assistant director of nursing at Xijing Hospital; the head of nursing for the operating room and the head of nursing for plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Dental Hospital of the Fourth Military Medical University; and the director of nursing and head of nursing for the emergency department at Qilu Hospital.
