• Early-Season Nor'easter Brings Historic Flooding to New Jersey's Coast (newswise.com) — Wall Township was hit hard by this weekend's early-season nor'easter, with wind gusts over 40 mph and more than seven inches of rain recorded locally, contributing to major coastal flooding. Rutgers climate experts say the storm brought some of the worst multi-tide flooding in decades and may signal a wetter, stormier El Niño season ahead for New Jersey's coast.
