Point Pleasant Man Killed In Wall Crash
79-year-old man's sport utility vehicle collided with a tractor-trailer

A Point Pleasant man died at the scene after his Lexus sport utility vehicle collided with a tractor trailer on Route 70, late Friday morning, according to nj.com.
The man was 79 years old. His name has not yet been released. The victim was heading westbound on Route 70 when he crashed into the rear of the tractor trailer, Lt. Greg Carpino said.
Route 70 was closed between Highway 34 and Old Bridge Road for approximately two and half hours for the investigation.

Wall Community First Aid, South Wall Fire Department, MONOC paramedics and the New Jersey State Police responded to the scene.
The crash is under investigation by Wall police. Anyone with information is asked to contact Patrolman Andrew Baldino or Lt. Chad Clark of the Wall Township Police Department at 732-449-4500.
