UPDATE: Rescue From 'Treasure Island,' Water Taxi Runs Aground In Brielle
Twenty-two people were rescued from the island. No major injuries were reported, according to the Barnegat Bay Island Facebook page.

Twenty-two people were rescued Sunday after the Manasquan Water Taxi ran aground on Osborn Island, otherwise known as ”Treasure Island,” according to Point Pleasant Boro officials.
No major injuries were reported.
Point Pleasant Boro emergency personnel were dispatched to a boating accident on the Manasquan River early Sunday. Marine Units from the Point Pleasant, Herbertsville Laurelton Fire Department, Pioneer Hose Brentonwoods fire departments and the U.S. Coast Guard responded.
A staging point was set up at the Crystal Point Yacht Club. Units from Point Boro EMS, Brick Police EMS and Lakewood EMS were on scene assisting with treatment, according to the Point Pleasant Boro Office of Emergency Management.

Several Injuries were reported none were life threatening. One person was transported to Ocean Medical Center.
