Safe Sitter Babysitter Training To Take Place December 27

Students between 11 and 14 years old are invited to a special training session to learn how to become a Safe Sitter!

Experts from K. Hovnanian Children's Hospital will offer a special training program on December 27, 2018 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to teach tweens and teens how to be safe babysitters. The program will take place at HOPE Tower at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, 19 Davis Avenue, Neptune.

Participants must be between the ages of 11 and 14. Space is limited and there is a registration fee of $40 per person. Please call 1-800-560-9990 to reserve a spot.

  • How to keep the children and themselves safe.
  • How to entertain children and prevent danger.
  • How to call for emergency help.
  • How to prevent injuries and basic first aid.
  • What to do when a child chokes or stops breathing.

This is a copyrighted program and the curriculum is followed by a manual that the students receive.
