Silverton Fire Company Delivers Holiday Spirit To Toms River's Zane Family
Christmas tree, gifts, food and kindness comprise a surprise delivery to the family on Sunday

The Silverton Volunteer Fire Company has been having Santa delivering Christmas trees this holiday season, and Sunday paid a visit to the Zane family of Toms River.
The family is facing enormous challenges: Caden, 4, one of a set of triplet siblings, has had continuous medical problems his entire life, necessitating multiple surgeries. Then earlier this fall, Jill Zane, Caden’s mother, was diagnosed with breast cancer. She has begun chemotherapy, but the family’s financial challenges -- both Jill Zane and her husband, Matt, are teachers in the Wall Township School District.

Friends and family are trying to raise funds to help them, through donations the family at youcaring.org.
Sunday, the Silverton Volunteer Fire Company did what it could, delivering a tree, gifts, food and Christmas spirit.

On Friday, Dec. 12, at its Christmas Party, members of Wall PBA will also be donating cash and gift card donations to help the Zane Family.
Those wishing to contribute can contact James Cadigan of the Wall Township Police Department at 732-449-4500 extension 1162 or drop the donation off at Wall Township Police Headquarters, 2700 Allaire Rd., prior to Dec. 12.
