“I also caught up with the factory workers there. They are great people. I like to see firsthand what they are working on and just to be able watch all of the stages of production. “We have people with hair loss due to chemotherapy and radiation, but then we also have a lot of people who have autoimmune diseases or disorders. It could be something like Lupus or thyroid issues. Also, anxiety disorders for of hair pulling like Trichotillomania. It’s pretty vast. We cover any type of thinning or loss,” said Grillo.
Transitions Hair Solutions offers a variety of options. Grillo says she is especially excited about the CNC product from Cesare Ragazzi Laboratories in Italy.
“When someone has a bigger thinning area, or they just need more coverage period for whatever reason, we go into custom pieces and custom wigs,” said Grillo.
“It’s probably the most advanced thing out there. It’s a scalp duplication. It’s the way the hair is hand injected. It just gives a natural flowing head of hair. That’s what it comes out like in the end,” said Grillo. “It’s just something that we’re really excited about because it’s the most natural looking thing I’ve ever seen for someone that needs full coverage,” she said.
25-year-old Malin Mumford of Asbury Park, New Jersey recently got a CNC through Transitions Hair Solutions. Mumford suffers from Alopecia and struggled to find the right hair loss solution before finding Grillo.
“Danielle was actually my third stop on the way. I had some bad experiences before I came here,” said Transitions Hair Solutions client Malin Mumford.
Mumford says after wearing a wig for almost a year; she wanted something permanent.
“I don’t want to feel like I can’t go to the beach this summer, or go to a nightclub with my friends and be scared that my hair is going to fall off, because I’m getting sweaty and warm,” said Mumford.
Mumford says as a young women in her twenties, she really wants to enjoy her life, which is why she chose the CNC.
“I’m excited. My new hair, my CNC system, I’m so excited about it. I’m going to get a little wave into it and it’s going to be great,” said Mumford.
The CNC has a very precise molding process. Transitions Hair Solutions gets a perfect fit. The process takes into consideration a client’s bone structure, face shape, coverage area, skin color, hair density, and hair per strand. The result is basically a completely seamless scalp duplication, which conforms to a client’s head.
“It’s so rewarding, because I get to help them. I will go anywhere if I find something that is worth it,” said Grillo.
