A Wall Township man has been charged making terroristic threats after he threatened to stab a woman, according to a criminal complaint released by the Monmouth County prosecutor’s office.
James C. Matthews, 49, of the West Belmar section, was arrested Feb. 20 by Wall Township Patrolman Chris Scerbo and charged with making the threat, “I will stab you with a knife,” in a domestic violence incident, according to the complaint.
Bail was set at $10,000, with an option to post 10 percent, by Judge Joseph Defino, who also ordered Matthews to have no contact with the victim.
