Wall Police Announce Four Weekend Drug, DWI Arrests

Three arrests occurred in a 30-minute span Sunday morning.

Wall Township police announced the following arrests from the weekend:

On Friday, July 31 at 11:02 p.m., Joseph Vadala, 23, of Howell was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Route 35. He was processed and released accordingly. Patrolman Kevin Wagner made the arrest.

On Sunday, Aug. 2 at 2:18 a.m., Kristie Metcalf, 24, of Lyndhurst was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Route 138. She was processed and released accordingly. Patrolman Michael Tancredi made the arrest.

On Sunday, Aug. 2 at 2:31 a.m., Edwin Cruz, 26, of South Plainfield was charged with DWI subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Interstate 195. He was processed and released accordingly. Sergeant Sean O’Halloran made the arrest.

On Sunday, Aug. 2 at 2:43 a.m., Anthony Bessel, 57, of Bordentown was charged with DWI subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Route 138. He was processed and released accordingly. Patrolman Amy Drackwicz made the arrest.
