Wall Police Blotter: DWI, Drug Arrests

The arrests of people from Brick, Toms River, Freehold, and elsewhere occurred between Tuesday and Friday morning, police said.

WALL, NJ — Wall Township police announced the following arrests in the township in recent days. Driving while impaired and drug possession charges were the primary charges.

On Tuesday, Oct. 17, at 11:53 a.m., Patrolman Brady arrested Alicia L. Ansbach, 29, of Toms River, and Daniel J. Labrecque, 35, of Toms River, on charges of possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Route 138 near Old Mill Road. After arrest processing, they were released on a complaint summons with a pending court date.

On Tuesday, Oct. 17, at 3:13 p.m., Patrolman Margadonna arrested Rashawn Clarke, 29, of Freehold, on charges of possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Route 33 near the Howell border. After arrest processing, he was released on a complaint summons with a pending court date.

On Tuesday, Oct. 17, at 5:19 p.m., Patrolman Roland arrested Michael W. Lange, 35, of Forked River, on charges of possession of marijuana under 50 grams, possession of hash under 5 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Route 34 near Lakewood Road. After arrest processing, he was released on a complaint summons with a pending court date.

On Wednesday, Oct. 18, at 12:35 a.m., Patrolman Daugherty arrested Ryan Lyons, 28, of Bayville, on charges of possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. Also arrested was Michael Ranno, 32, of Brick, on charges of possession of a methamphetamines, possession of prescription medication without a prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia. They were arrested subsequent a motor vehicle stop on Route 34 near Allaire Road. After arrest processing, they were released on a complaint summons with a pending court date.

On Wednesday, Oct. 18, at 1:30 a.m., Patrolman Alexander arrested Sara Shannon, 28, of Brick, on a charge of driving while intoxicated subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Route 35 near 16th Avenue. After arrest processing, she was issued a summons and released with a pending court date.

On Thursday, Oct. 19, at 12:39 a.m., Patrolman Swenson arrested Wayne H. Applegate 3rd, 26, of Brick, on a charge of driving while intoxicated subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Route 34 and Paynters Road. After arrest processing, he was issued a summons and released with a pending court date.

On Thursday, Oct. 19, at 9:42 p.m., Patrolman Spinapont arrested Pran R. Patnaik, 20, of Hamilton Square, on charges of possession of marijuana under fifty grams and possession of drug paraphernalia subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Interstate 195 near the Howell Border. After arrest processing, he was issued a complaint summons and released with a pending court date.

On Friday, Oct. 20, at 1:56 a.m., Patrolman Honecker arrested Carissa L. Elmiger, 32, of Point Pleasant, and Michael S. Centofanti, 31, of Point Pleasant, on charges of possession of heroin and possession of hypodermic needles subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Route 138 near Allenwood Road. Centofanti also was found to have an active warrant from the Ocean County. After arrest processing, Carissa was released on a complaint summons then turned over to the custody of the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department.
