Wall Police Blotter: Man With Gun, DWI, Car Burglaries
Arrests from Jan. 30 and 31, reported by Wall Township Police.

WALL, NJ -- A Neptune man has been charged with weapons offenses after a brief foot chase following a motor vehicle stop, Wall Township police said.
Ishon A. Tavor-Peteete, 18, of Neptune, was pulled over shortly before midnight on Jan. 30 by Patrolman Ty Hughes for failure to signal a turn at Routes 35 and 138, Sgt. Greg Carpino said.
Tavor-Peteete tried to run away on foot, but Hughes arrested him after a brief chase, Carpino said. Tavor-Peteete was found to have a loaded .22 caliber handgun and pepper spray on him, Carpino said.

Tavor-Peteete was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon (pepper spray/knives), obstruction, hindering, resisting arrest, possession of marijuana and paraphernalia, Carpino said.
He is being held at the Monmouth County Correctional Institute in lieu of $100,000 bail, with a 10 percent option, Carpino said.

Hughes and Patrolman Kevin Wagner were the arresting officers.

Thomas M. Pugliese, 26, of Howell was charged with driving while intoxicated after he was pulled over on Route 35 near Belmar Boulevard about 2 a.m. on Jan. 31 for driving without his vehicle’s headlights on. Pugliese was processed and released according to John’s Law. Patrolman Michael Tancredi made the arrest.
David N. Braden 2nd, 36, of Belmar, was charged with burglary in connection with two motor vehicle break-ins on Jan. 31. Police were called to Route 71 and East Curtis Avenue at 9:40 p.m. for a report of a burglary and the investigation revealed Braden had entered two vehicles in that area. Braden was charged with burglary to a motor vehicle, theft, possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. Defino set bail at $31,000 with a 10 percent option, which Braden has since posted. Patrolman Jack Gramlich was the arresting officer.
