Wall Teen Disciplined After Snapchat Rifle Photo Sparks Investigation
Wall police say their investigation determined the photo was of a toy and that there was no plan to harm anyone.

A Wall Township High School student’s Snapchat photo that included a rifle and the text “Everyone come to school early tomorrow” has been disciplined by school officials after police determined he did not plan to harm anyone, township police said Wednesday.
Wall Township police and the township Board of Education were notified Tuesday evening of the Snapchat post, created by a student at the high school, Detective Lt. Pete Lokerson said.
Police investigating the posting determined the photo was that of an airsoft plastic toy gun, he said, and determined the student had not intent to plan or cause any harm, Lokerson said.
