On Tuesday evening, April 28, 2014, the Wall Township Board of Education unanimously approved its 2014-2015 fiscal budget, at their monthly Board of Education meeting, held at Wall Intermediate School. The 2014-2015 budget included the funding which will allow the district to offer a full-day Kindergarten program, at all four of their elementary schools, in the Fall of 2014.
On February 25, 2014, Wall Township Public Schools hosted two Full-Day Kindergarten Informational Sessions, which were open to the public, and held at the Wall High School Auditorium. The purpose of the informational sessions, were to provide the local community with pertinent statistical and educational research associated with Full-Day Kindergarten. The positive social and behavioral effects of full-day kindergarten on children were also presented. In addition, an example of a full instructional day was also provided to all attendees.
All kindergarten curricula will be aligned to New Jersey Common Core Standards (e.g. Mathematic and English/Language Arts) and New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards which include the following: Science & STEM, Social Studies, World Language, Physical Education/Health, Visual & Performing Arts, 21st Century Learning Skills, Holocaust/Genocide Caring Makes A Difference, and Technology.

Wall Township Public Schools will be offering another Full-Day Kindergarten Registration Session, on Monday, June 2, 2014 at 6:30pm, in the Wall Intermediate School Audiforum. This session will outline the registration process and give parents an opportunity to meet their building principals.
If you are unable to attend the session, the presentation can be found on the curriculum website. Registration forms can be found on the district main website at http://www1.wall.k12.nj.us under the New Student Registration tab. Parents who have already registered their child do not need to register again.
