Woman Dies In Custody At Monmouth County Police Department: Report
The woman, arrested on drug charges, was found unresponsive while in custody, according to the report.

NEPTUNE, NJ — A North Carolina woman arrested on drug charges died at the Neptune police department after she was found unresponsive, according to a report.
The Asbury Park Press reported Katie Lee Thomas, 21, of Efland, North Carolina, was arrested Aug. 17 and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, quoting the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.
While she was in custody at the Neptune Police Department, she was found unresponsive and not breathing, the report said.
