WARREN, NJ — The FBI is asking the public for help in solving a 20-year-old cold case involving a Warren Township mother.
On Tuesday, the FBI announced it is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved in the disappearance of Margaret Haddican-McEnroe.
Haddican-McEnroe, age 48, was last seen at her home in Warren Township on Oct. 10, 2006.
She disappeared from the Washington Valley Road home she shared with husband Tim McEnroe and their three children, according to a previous Patch article.
Haddican-McEnroe was a lifelong Warren resident and a volunteer firefighter at the Washington Valley and Mt. Bethel volunteer fire companies.
The FBI notice identifies Haddican-McEnroe as a white woman with brown hair and brown eyes, 5-foot-2 and 110 pounds.
It lists her alias as Sherwood Haley and says she also uses the birth name of Sherwood Haley.
According to the FBI, she was last seen wearing a black "BDU" jacket, a gray "Army" sweatshirt with black lettering, white checkered pajama pants, white socks, and white "Nike" sneakers.
She was also wearing a silver chain with dog tags and a white wedding ring with three diamonds. The FBI states she may have been carrying a black bag containing additional clothing.
Haddican-McEnroe also has a tribal tattoo on her stomach, multiple tattoos on her back, and a tattoo of a firefighter's helmet on her left calf.
In 2011, the Investigation Discovery program "Disappeared" featured an episode examining the disappearance of Margaret Haddican-McEnroe.
She was reported missing on Oct. 12 by her husband, who said he returned from a 90-minute errand on Oct. 10 and found their infant alone. McEnroe, who waited two days before reporting his wife missing, was recently named a person of interest in his wife's disappearance.
The case has been featured several times on CNN's "Nancy Grace Show," with interviews of family members and discussion of the case.

Anyone with information regarding the disappearance is asked to call the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI or submit a tip online at tips.fbi.gov.
