WHEN: Sat April 30th 2011 from 2:30-4:30
WHERE: Mountain Avenue Field, Watchung Hills Regional High School
WHY: Malaria kills a child every 30 seconds. In order to combat this disease, thousands of people around the country and the world are gearing up to show their commitment to ending malaria deaths by 2015.
The Watchung Hills Women's Lacrosse Team wants to be a part of this commitment. We want to use our nets to raise money and awareness for the cost of purchasing long-lasting insecticide-treated bed nets. Half of the proceeds will be donated to the Nothing But Nets Campaign, which is a global, grassroots campaign to raise awareness and funding for the purchase of these nets.
