Who's your favorite player on the team? Tommy's son Matt, a sophomore, was the opening-day starting tailback for the Warriors. "He enjoys being a good spirit on the team. He loves to keep the game fun and not just have it be just about winning."
What's your favorite memory of him playing? "Junior Warriors. He scored a lot of touchdowns."

What's the best part of the game that gets the least attention? "The great fields that we get to go to. We had none of these when I played (for Vailsburg High in Newark)."
