Far Hills Names Lori Fitzgibbon as Next Chief Financial Officer of the School

FAR HILLS, NJ - Far Hills Country Day School (Far Hills) is pleased to announce that Lori Fitzgibbon has been named its next Chief Financial Officer beginning July 1. Ms. Fitzgibbon brings years of experience to the position from several independent schools in the country. She is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Carrollwood Day School in Tampa, Florida. Prior to that position, she was the Chief Financial Officer at the Washington Montessori School in New Preston, Connecticut, a pre-kindergarten through grade eight school.

Ms. Fitzgibbon excels in the many facets the position requires including accounting, compliance, human resources, budgeting and forecasting, banking, payroll, strategic planning, and all school legal and insurance issues and is looking forward to joining Far Hills. About the appointment, Ms. Fitzgibbon comments, “I am extremely honored to be the next CFO at Far Hills Country Day School and (to) have the opportunity to work with Tom Woelper and his team. I’m excited to connect with the school and local communities and return to my native New Jersey after living in other states for the past 15 years.”

Ms. Fitzgibbon received a BS in Business and Economics, and an MBA, both from Lehigh University. She is also a Certified Public Accountant.
