Farinhas, Fiorilla and McGrath Combine for New School Discus Relay Record
Warriors Compete at Somerset County Track and Field Relays.
The boys and girls track and field teams both finished ninth Saturday at the 50th annual Somerset County Relays. The boys scored 15 points while the girls scored 9. Franklin High School took both the boys and girls team titles.
Andrew Farinhas, Peter Fiorilla and Pat McGrath broke the school record for the three-man discus relay with a distance total of 293 feet, 10 inches.
The Warriors best finish of the meet was in the boys shuttle hurdles. The team of Brandon Baptista, Syed Ahmed, Joey Guaglianone and Aaron Jaslove finished second.

- Kyle Connors split 2:07, a 10-second personal best, for his 800m leg of the DMR
- Rob Hovanec split 51.2 for the 400m leg of the DMR
