Franklin Day Festival on September 19 Expected to Draw Large Crowds
The Franklin Day Festival is at Colonial Park on September 19 from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
SOMERSET, N.J., September 9, 2015 – The Franklin Day Festival on Saturday, September 19 is expected to draw more than 5,000 attendees this year with a variety of entertainers, food vendors, crafters and business services to entertain adults, children and families.
The Festival to be held from 11- 6 p.m. in popular Colonial Park (Lot C) will showcase a diversity of talent, children’s programs and activities. In addition, the 2015 event will include a classic car show and expanded games and attractions for children. The Festival will also feature programs with upbeat music provided by eight different musical acts to get the crowd moving and dancing.
The event is being supported by Diamond Sponsors Investors Bank and Loreal Cosmetics among several other sponsors and donors. In addition, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and Saint Peter’s will both have multiple tents and provide health care tests and information.

The event is located across from the children’s playground. Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets for a picnic in beautiful Colonial Park.
