In Short
Watchung Hills struggled to string together hits and put runs on the board. Only able to muster three hits, the Warriors couldn’t push across any runs as starting pitcher Grace Hurley kept her team within striking distance. The Warriors played solid defense, despite a meaningless error in the seventh inning. In the third inning, second baseman Tina Scolaro made a great leaping catch on a liner and turned it into a double play when she threw to first. Center fielder Jamie Schoenbach made a sliding catch in the fifth inning.
