March of Dimes Receives Over $30,000 in Donations from Citi
Donations from Citi employees in Warren mark fifteen years of Citi offices throughout the U.S. providing their support to the March of Dimes

March of Dimes announced today that they have received over $30,000 in donations from Citi employees in Warren, New Jersey for their March for Babies initiative in 2015. This year marks fifteen years of Citi offices throughout the U.S. providing their support to the March of Dimes, during which time over $35 million has been raised as part of a company-wide “Responsible Citizenship” platform that encourages all employees to give back to their local communities. Each year, Citi employee teams across the country rally together to set fundraising goals and collaborate on creative ways in which they can bring awareness and provide support to the March of Dimes mission.
“We are truly grateful for Citi’s support and partnership with the March of Dimes, and their commitment to employee engagement, social responsibility and enabling progress in the communities they serve is unwavering,” said Allie Hall, Executive Director for March of Dimes Central New Jersey.
Citi employees in Warren held their very own second annual March for Babies walk at their campus on Wednesday, April 29th. Fellow Citi employees from Rutherford and Jersey City also played an integral role this year by joining the Warren office in their goal to raise even more funds in 2015 as well as participate in the walk. As a result of the combined efforts of all three Citi offices, 150 employees took two hours out of the work day to walk and commemorate the fifteenth anniversary of Citi’s national partnership with March of Dimes.

In 2014, Citi employees from Warren donated over $15,000 to March of Dimes, an amazing accomplishment from the teams who participated. This year, they set their goal at $25,000 and exceeded it with a total of over $30,000 raised. Citi’s Managing Director, Charles Blauner along with his team individually raised over $15,000, a tremendous feat and contribution to company-wide efforts. Mr. Blauner led the walk with fellow top fundraising employees Anthony Turiano and Susan Summers, whose teams raised over $1,000 respectively; these top fundraisers were honored at a ceremony preceding the procession around the Warren corporate campus.
“The entire Warren community is very proud to have exceeded our March of Dimes fundraising goal for 2015,” said Randy Sloan, Citi’s Warren Campus Site President. “Our employees continue to invest their time and commitment to this incredible organization, which is even more special to us this year as we celebrate our fifteen year anniversary of working together.”
