Park 17th in Javelin, Scheitelman 19th in 800-Meter

Amy Park finished 17th at the Group IV track and field championships Saturday at Old Bridge. Also competing on Saturday for the Warriors was Emmie Scheitelman, who finished 19th in the 800-meter run.

CJ DeFabio, who , setting a new school record in the event, chose not to run in the 3,200-meter run Saturday. By placing in the top-six in the 1,600 run on Friday, DeFabio qualified for the State Meet of Champions on Thursday at Old Bridge's Lombardi Field at Carl Sandburg Middle School. Start time for the Meet of Champions is 3:30 p.m.
