Two Men Charged In Warren Armed Robbery

rt linkUnlinWARREN, NJ — Two men were arrested in connection with an armed robbery of a Warren convenience store in March at gunpoint, Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson announced. Frank E. Kline, 52, of Belvidere Avenue, and David B. Domanski, 53, of Washington Arms, both located in Washington Township in Warren County were arrested and charged with one count of first degree armed robbery, and one count of second degree unlawful possession of a firearm on April 13.
On March 26, at around 8:39 p.m., an armed robbery at the Krauszer’s food store located on Stirling Road was reported.
The male employee of the store reported that a Caucasian male, approximately 50 years old, wearing dark clothing and a white baseball hat entered the store.

The man immediately walked towards the employee showing a handgun and demanded cash from the register. The victim gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction, according to Robertson.
Detectives released still images from surveillance camera footage to the public and had asked for assistance in identifying the suspect.

Kline was found to fit the description of the man Warren Police were looking for and was also wanted in Washington Township Police (Warren County) on a similar incident, Washington Police reported.
A surveillance was set up on Kline on April 13 by detectives from Warren Township, Long Hill Township (Morris County) and Washington Township during which he was found to match the description of the still images and was also wearing the same clothing that he wore during the armed robbery.
Kline was arrested around 5:30 p.m. and a search of Kline's home took place around 6:17 p.m. where it was found Domanski was also involved in the armed robbery.
At around 8:30 p.m. Warren Township detectives went to Domanski’s home to speak with him and he voluntarily responded.
At 9:35 p.m. both Kline and Domanski were arrested and charged. Both were lodged in the Somerset County Jail pending a detention hearing.
