Warren Cub Scout Pack 182 Attends Fall Camporee at Winnebago Scout Reservation

Warren Cub Scouts from Pack 182 Camped at Winnebago Scout Reservation in Rockaway, NJ

On the weekend of October 13-15, 2017 Cub Scout Families from Pack 182 in Warren attended the annual Fall Camporee at the Winnebago Scout Reservation in Rockaway, NJ. Cub Scouts of all ranks from grades kindergarten through fifth grade enjoyed tent camping and a variety of outdoor activities; learning skills and having fun together with their families. Some of the highlights of the weekend were a two mile hike around Durham Pond, fishing, row boating, wood crafts and whittling, building Cub Mobiles, rock wall climbing and Frisbee throwing. The boys tried their hand at shooting BB Guns and Archery with our Pack’s certified Range Masters. Cub Scouts learned to cook pocket meals in foil pouches on the campfire for their dinner. They created a skit to perform at the Council’s closing campfire night and had a fantastic time with over 850 participants from the many communities’ Packs that make up the Patriot’s Path Boy Scout Council. The weather was kind this year and a great time was had by all who attended.
