Warren Cub Scout Pack 182 Gathers to Hunt for Eggs and Celebrate Spring!

Cub Scouts enjoyed a beautiful day of fun, egg hunting, playing games, learning about nature and celebrating Spring!

On Sunday, April 9th approximately 30 Cub Scouts from Warren Pack 182, their families and friends gathered at the Bellmann residence in Warren to participate in an egg hunt and celebrate spring! The boys were organized into their respective dens, and wearing their uniforms, Kindergarten Lions all the way up through 5th grade Webelos collected 1000 eggs hidden and scattered throughout the property.

The Scouts were reminded by Cub Master, Adam Gioia, to “leave no trace” when they scamper through the property and to behave according to the Scout Law which reminds the boys to be kind, helpful and respectful. After 20 minutes, lots of teamwork and may laughs most of the 1000 eggs were located.

After some refreshments and kick ball games throughout the yard the boys and their siblings recycled their water bottles to plant sunflowers. The afternoon truly showcased the spirit of scouting; with adventurous scavenger hunting, friendly self-organized soccer, Frisbee, baseball and nature aware recycling planting. Host, Christian Bellmann thought it was a pleasure to watch the kids bond and enjoy a beautiful weekend activity.
