Warren Cub Scout Pack 182 visits Seniors at The Chelsea to spread Holiday cheer!

Cub Scouts visited with Senior Citizens, sang Holiday carols and got to know each other better.

A Scout is Cheerful. This month, Cub Scouts from Warren Pack 182 explored one of twelve tenets of the Scout Law – Cheerful. A cheerful attitude can make all the difference in how we approach the tasks and challenges of our daily activities. A smile on your face can lift the spirits of those around you too.

On Tuesday December 20, 2016, Cub Scouts from Kindergarten through Fifth grade from Warren Pack 182 visited The Chelsea at Warren, Senior living facility and participated in a Holiday Carol sing along with many of the residents, and then took time to visit, ask questions and get to know some of their elders.

This activity had a lot of intangible benefits for the Cub Scouts, chief among them; confidence building, fellowship, learning from our elders, and bringing cheer and goodwill to other people is as EASY as a smile and a question.

The spirit of Joy and Cheer was clear in the smiles of young and old alike.
