WARREN, NJ — Republicans hold on to control in Warren.
Here are the unofficial results of the 2017 Township Committee and Board of Education elections.

Township Committee:

In Warren republicans hold onto control as they win the two three-year seats on the township committee.
Republican incumbents Michael Marion got 2,677 votes and George K. Lazo got 2,613 winning over challenging democrats John Patrick Fahy with 1,685 votes and Rick de Pinho with 1,864 votes.
Board of Education:
For the Warren Township School District there were only two candidates vying for three three-year seats.
Candidates David Brezee got 2,156 votes and Ayanna Taylor got 1,495 votes. No petition was filed for the third seat.
There was only one candidate running for the one one-year unexpired term — Ilana Y. Goldstein who got 2,428 votes.
For Watchung Hills Regional High School District, Peter B. Fallon got 2,610 votes. He was the only candidate running for the one three-year seat for Warren Township.
For the one three-year seat for Watchung Borough, Freddie Hayeck won with 733 votes over Sondra Fechtner 620 votes.
Results are unofficial until certified by the Somerset County Clerk and do not include absentee ballots.
