Warren Girls Scouts' Silver Award Project Benefits Library

Two Warren Girl Scouts created several flannel board story sets for the Warren Library branch to use as part of their Silver Award Project.

WARREN, NJ — As part of their Silver Award project, Girl Scouts Kaitlyn Linton, 14, and Kaitlyn Roth, 14, both from Warren, created several flannel board story sets for use at Somerset County Library System of New Jersey's Warren Township Library branch.

On Monday, Linton and Roth used their newly created flannel sets to present "Storytime Special: Splash! Splash!" for young children. A second presentation, "Storytime Special: Dancing Feet," will be hosted at the Library on June 28.

"We really feel lucky to have such dedicated young patrons willing to share their talents and time with the library," Antonette D'Orazio, youth services supervisor at the branch, said.
