Warriors Fall to Pingry in County LAX Tourney
Take early lead, but can't hold on for the victory.
The Warrior men's lacrosse team jumped to an early lead in Monday's first round of the Somerset County lacrosse tournament, but couldn't stop Pingry's aggressive attack to claim a victory.

The Warriors came out strong, scoring three goals in the first period, and looking to have the upper hand in the game. Pingry scored two quick goals to open their big second quarter, which was enough to win the game.

Goalie PJPimentel held off several scoring attempts to keep the Warriors in the hunt. Despite Pingry's relentless pressure on attacker Matt Bowman, especially on fast breaks, in an attempt to limit his chances to score, he scored five goals, trading shots with midfielder Jeff George.

Matt Bowman: Bowman's offensive output was consistent throughout the game, keeping the Warriors in the battle until the final minutes.
Other key performances: Jeff George—scored four goals, one in each quarter, to further propel the team; PJ Pimental—credited with several saves.
