Watchung Hills Epee Fencers Grab Fourth at States
Cassius Ali leads team with 12-3 performance.

The boys epee squad of Watchung Hills Regional High School captured
fourth place in the state tournament, held at North Hunterdon High School, Saturday.
The team competed in a field of 16 qualifying teams.
Senior Cassius Ali went 12-3 on the C strip to lead the effort, and Captain Joe Kong (8-7) and Squad Captain Eric Gardner (7-8) rounded out the scoring to give the Warriors 27 wins.

Mendham captured first place in the tournament with 34 wins, besting other squads from Ridge and Millburn.
The Watchung epeeists were supported by sophomores Garret Blakeslee and Brandon Luong.
