Watchung Hills Falls to Pingry 18-3

In first game at home, Warriors can't match strong Pingry attack.

The Watchung Hills Regional High School girls lacrosse team dropped their 2011 home opener against offensively talented Pingry High School at home on Monday evening, losing 18-3.

In Short

Watchung Hills struggled to keep up with the attack of Pingry, as they were able to create a constant offensive rhythm in the Watchung defensive end.  Pingry’s defense also denied a consistent attack from the Warrior offense.  Watchung did have a few chances late in the 1st period, and momentum could have changed early in the 1st when Watchung midfielder Kelsey Dreyer hit a post, which would have cut the Pingry lead to 3-1.
