Watchung Hills Pays Administrators The Most In Somerset County

WARREN, NJ — The state has released information that shows how much your school district budgeted to pay principals and administrators in 2018. See where Watchung Hills Regional School District, Warren, Watchung and Green Brook schools ranks in the state and in Somerset County.

The regional school district, which encompasses Warren, Watchung, Green Brook and Long Hills, pays its principals and administrators the highest median salary in Somerset County with $146,608 and is 29th in the state.

Watchung came in at number four in Somerset County with a median salary of $137,925 and 83rd in the state followed by Warren Township at number eight in the county with $128,621 and 173rd in the state.

Green Brook Township was 14th in the county with $122,943 and 252nd in the state.

South Bound Brook paid the lowest amount in Somerset County with a median salary of $98,940 and is 484th in the state.

The information is part of the state Department of Education's Taxpayer's Guide to Education Spending, which shows the median salary in every New Jersey school district.

In addition to median salaries, the site also shows each district's total spending, average daily enrollment and students from sending districts, the per-pupil costs and the district's total budget spending for 2018.
