WHSA TOPSoccer Registration Now Open

Offered Free of Charge

Watchung Hills Soccer Association (WHSA) TOPSoccer registration is now open. WHSA is excited to announce that the program will be FREE of charge this season. The season is scheduled to begin on Saturday, April 28th. To register as a player, visit www.whsa.org and click on the “Log In” tab and then follow the registration steps.

TOPSoccer is a community-based training program for young athletes with mental and physical disabilities. The goal is to enable young athletes with disabilities to develop their physical fitness, technical skills, courage, and self-esteem, through the joy and excitement of playing soccer.

WHSA’s TOPSoccer program is run by volunteers and directed by Antonio Pagkalinawan who said, “We’re happy to offer a program that includes special needs children from our community as well as surrounding areas.”Children with disabilities, between the ages of 5 and 14, from Warren and any surrounding towns are eligible to participate. Each player is paired with a “buddy” who helps them throughout every activity. The program runs for 6 weeks and takes place on Saturdays from 10:15a.m. – 11:15 a.m. at the Warren Middle School Field.
