3 Men Grab, Rob Victim While Walking On Street In Somerset County: Police

Two of the men grabbed the victim's arms and restrained him while a third man went through his pockets, according to police.

NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ — A man walking down the street on Sunday night was grabbed, held back and robbed by three black men, North Plainfield police report.

The victim was walking on the sidewalk at the intersection of Washington Avenue and Prospect Place in North Plainfield when three black men approached him on Nov. 20 at , according to police.

Two of the men grabbed the victim's arms and restrained him while a third man went through his pockets and stole a cell phone worth around $190, according to the blotter.

The three men then ran away heading westbound on Myrtle Avenue.
