9 Arrested By Watchung Police

WATCHUNG, NJ — A total of nine people were arrested for having outstanding warrants and one for marijuana possession in Watchung, police report.

Watchung Police Blotter:

On March 2 at 3:02 p.m.: Celawn Jack, 42, of Plainfield was arrested for having a warrant out of Bridgewater for $89 following a traffic stop on Route 22 West. She was transported to headquarters, processed and released after posting bail.

On March 2 at 11:08 p.m.: Akira Gaynor, 31, of Irvington was arrested for having two warrants out of Watchung for $500 and South Orange for $250 following a traffic stop on Route 22 West. She was also issued a summonses for maintenance of lights, failure to inspect and driving while suspended. She was transported to headquarters, processed and released after posting bail.

On March 5 at 11:11 p.m.: Godeline Piercin, 31, of East Orange was arrested for having a warrant out of East Orange for $150 following a traffic stop on Route 22 East. He was also issued a summonses for driving while suspended. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released after posting bail.

On March 1 at 8:40 p.m.: Danielle Croom, 35, of North Plainfield was arrested for having a warrant out of Berkeley Heights for $950 and Montgomery for $200 following a traffic stop on Route 22 West. She was also issued a summonses for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended driver's license, failure to observe a signal and failure to report an address change. She was transported to headquarters, processed and released after ROR.

On Feb. 28 at 9:30 a.m.: Duane Lyken, 44, of Basking Ridge was arrested having a warrant out of South River Municipal Court for $355 following a traffic stop on Route 22 West. He was also issued summonses for unclear plates and driving while suspended. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released after posting bail.

On Feb. 28 at 4:40 p.m.: Aunahmed Memon, 21, of Edison was arrested for having a warrant out of South Plainfield Municipal Court for $300 following a traffic stop on Route 22 West. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released after posting bail.

On Feb. 28 at 8:42 p.m.: Joseph Jackson, 27, of Jersey City was arrested for possession of marijuana under 50 grams following a traffic stop on Route 22 East.

On Feb. 27 at 11:06 a.m.: Qamarah Johnson, 35, of East Orange was came to Watchung Headquarters to pay $500 for an outstanding warrant out of the borough. She was issued a new court date.

On Feb. 28 at 4:03 a.m.: Khali Edwards, 23, of Cranford was arrested for having a warrant out of Watchung Municipal Court. He was transported to Somerset County Jail in lieu of bail.
