Alleged Gasoline Thief Wanted By North Plainfield Police
The suspect, described as a white or Hispanic man and about 40 years old, filled up 3 gas cans worth $197.99 and left without paying: police
NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ — A man is wanted by North Plainfield Police for stealing almost $200 worth of gasoline from a borough gas station.
On Sunday April 30 at approximately 9:08 a.m., a gray four-door cab pickup truck pulled into the BP Gas Station located at 1310 Route 22 East in North Plainfield.
The pickup truck pulled up to the far east pump and filled up diesel gas cans in the rear of his pickup truck and one regular gas can which he filled up at another pump. When he was finished filling up the tanks, he left without paying for the $197.99 worth of fuel.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male and approximately 40 years of age.
