Another Alleged Cocaine Dealer Busted In Watchung Mall: Prosecutor

This is the second alleged drug dealer busted in the same mall by police.

WATCHUNG, NJ — A second cocaine dealer was busted at a Watchung Mall with 20 grams of cocaine, authorities announced.

Another alleged drug dealer was busted on the same day at the same place for having 500 decks of heroin and about 20 grams of crack cocaine.

Rojhaun S. Gray, 23, of Plainfield was charged with 2nd Degree, Possession with the intent to Distribute CDS (Cocaine), Acting Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson, Acting Chief of County Detectives John W. Fodor, and Watchung Borough Chief of Police Joseph R. Cina announced.

On Nov. 29, Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Organized Crime and Narcotics Task Force received a tip that Gray would be going to the Blue Star Shopping Center in Watchung Borough in a taxi cab and he would have crack cocaine.

When he arrived around 2 p.m. police approached Gray and searched him when they found the 20 grams of crack cocaine inside his pants, according to police.

The seized cocaine has an approximate street value of $2,000.

Gray was lodged in the Somerset County Jail with bail set by the Honorable John F. Richardson, J.M.C. at $200,000 cash or bond.
