Far Hills Country Day School Students Rank in top 3% of National Math League Competition

FAR HILLS, NJ - The Far Hills Country Day School (FHCDS) 4th grade Math League team have ranked in the top 3% of all schools in the United States who participated in the recent Math League competition. FHCDS was 28th out of 863 participating schools.  

Team members were Nate Rygh, Matthew Turner, Jacob Morin, Jack Blanco, William Mell, David Korn, and AdaRose Wagar.  Two of the team members, Matthew Turner and Nate Rygh individually scored in the top 20%.  They placed 165th out of all 4th grade participants. 

The FHCDS 5th grade team ranked in the top 5% of all schools in the United States who participated in Math League.  FHCDS was 57th out of 1162 participating schools. The 5th grade team members are: Peter Gajewski, Rohan Mirchandani, Maggie Ross, Sofia Scordley, and Christian Agathis.

The state level NJ Elementary Contest of mathleague.org was held on May 9th, 2013 in Marlboro, NJ for students in grades 3 through 6.   Participants were the top finishers from local elementary school competitions held earlier in the spring.
