BREAKING: Traffic Delays After Two Cars Collide on Rt. 22 in Watchung

Watchung, NJ -- Two cars collided this afternoon on Route 22 East in Watchung.

A silver Honda Accord and another silver vehicle were spun in the opposite direction of the highway right outside the entrance to the Watchung Square Mall.

The Accord was on the grass off the shoulder. The driver and a passenger were standing outside of the car.

The crash occurred moments before 4:45 p.m. Police have not arrived on the scene yet.

Traffic in the east bound direction was slowed down in the area.
