Saturday, September 13, is the final day of the sale, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Ted Blum 4-H Center of Somerset County, 310 Milltown Road in Bridgewater.
All money raised benefits the Somerset County 4-H Development Program.
The mission of the Somerset County 4-H Association is to support the 4-H Youth Development Program of Somerset County. The Association owns and maintains the Ted Blum 4-H Center, hosts the annual Somerset County 4-H Fair, offers scholarships and provides monetary and volunteer support for programs and events. Somerset County 4-H Clover & Dragons, a Dungeons & Dragons Event

The Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) &nbsp;is a nonprofit, nonpolitical, service organization. Any woman, 18 and over, who is descended from a man or woman who aided American independence during the Revolutionary War, may join the DAR.
Members of Elizabeth Snyder-Continental Chapter are planning to celebrate America 250 with a variety of projects, including attending naturalization ceremonies, dedicating historic monuments, hosting public programs, creating history displays, participating in community events including the Somerset County 4-H Fair, attending state DAR events, and more.
Elizabeth Snyder-Continental Chapter was founded in 1896 and serves areas of Somerset, Middlesex and Union counties. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month, 7-9 p.m., in Green Brook, March through May, and September through November, with an anniversary luncheon and winter meeting in January 
The chapter sponsors the Pis-Cat-A-Qua Society of the Children of the American Revolution, open to girls and boys descended from a Revolutionary War Patriot, from birth to age 21.
New members to both organizations are welcome. The next DAR chapter meeting is May 12, 7-9 p.m., and women interested in joining are invited to attend. Contact the chapter at <a href="mailto:ESCchapterDAR@gmail.com">ESCchapterDAR@gmail.com</a>.

Somerset County 4-H Trainmasters Spring Model Train Show

St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church

Caritas Chamber Chorale will present a series of three a cappella choral concerts entitled A Heart at Peace
on the weekend of June 12-14, 2026. The program considers the many diverse moments when we find mercy and peace. Ultimately, our music leads us to the One who is the source of all peace. A freewill offering benefits the Adorno Fathers’ African Mission.
From 16th century English motets, through early American sacred music, to choral works composed by a plethora of gifted living composers, this program views peace, and our relationship to it, from many perspectives.
Featured works include local composer Mark A. Miller’s Dona Nobis Pacem, Caritas Composer in Residence Wayne Dietterick’s The Peace-Pipe on a Longfellow poem, and an original three-part work on the peace of one’s later years by Caritas charter member Chris Rath, entitled Let in the Grace. Also, don’t miss Martin Åsander’s Peace, Lucy Walker’s Give Me Your Stars and Dan Forrest’s Good Night Dear Heart, among many others.
The program’s title, A Heart at Peace, expresses our wish for you.
The concert will be presented on:
·Friday, June 12, 2026, 7:30 pm at the Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrenceville Rd., Lawrenceville, NJ 08648
·Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 7:30 pm at St. Vincent DePaul Church, 250 Bebout Ave., Stirling, NJ 07980
·Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 4 pm at Mount St. Mary’s Academy Chapel, 1645 Rt. 22 W., Watchung, NJ 07069. This concert will feature a women’s ensemble from Mount St. Mary’s Academy.

The concerts are free and open to the public. The entirety of a freewill offering will benefit the Pierluigi Fabbiani Nursery School, the Gianni Diurni Primary School, and the Foyer de l’Enfance Paolo Di Nardo Orphanage, run by the Adorno Fathers’ St. Francis Caracciolo Mission in Goma, Democratic Republic of Congo, Africa. 
Since its founding in 2005, Caritas’ audiences have supported the Adorno Fathers’ St. Francis Caracciolo Mission in DRC, Africa through freewill offerings.
Caritas Chamber Chorale is a community choir of approximately 20 singers who are dedicated to serving the poorest of the poor through the art of sacred music.
