Drug Possession, Shoplifting, Warrant Arrests Made In Watchung
Watchung Police arrested five people last week for shoplifting, drug possession and outstanding warrants, according to the blotter.

WATCHUNG, NJ — Watchung Police arrested five people last week for shoplifting, drug possession and outstanding warrants, according to the blotter.
Watchung Police Blotter:
On Nov. 15 at 5:56 p.m.: Famous Footwear on Route 22 West reported a shoplifter who fled the store with merchandise. The suspect is described as a black female wearing a black sweatshirt, white T-shirt, blue jeans, sneakers and a black bonnet on her head. She took pairs of boots worth $170 and fled the store.

On Nov. 25 at 8:23 a.m.: Home Depot on Route 22 West reported a shoplifter who fled the store. The suspect is described as 5'8" heavyset in his 40s with black and gray hair, glasses and wearing a blue jacket who fled the store with electronic equipment and tools worth $48.
On Nov. 25 at 9:30 a.m.: Darlene Walker, 54, of North Plainfield was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Route 22 East. Walker had an active warrant out of Aberdeen Municipal Court for $114. She was processed and released after posting full cash bail.

On Nov. 26 at 8:13 p.m.: Ivon Boves, 19, of Plainfield was arrested for possessing four grams of Marijuana and two cigar leaf rolling papers. She was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop in the Watchung Square Mall parking lot on Route 22 West. She was also issued a summonses for careless driving. She was processed and released with a court date.
On Nov. 25 at 2:38 p.m.: Jasbir Singh, 56, of North Plainfield was arrested for shoplifting $159.97 worth of merchandise from Sears on Route 22 East. He was processed and released on a summonses.
On Nov. 21 at 9:25 a.m.: Michael Collucci, 56, of Union was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Mountainside for $165 following a motor vehicle stop on Route 22 East. He was processed and released after posting bail.
On Nov. 21 at 7:49 p.m.: Ilma Garcia, 35, of Plainfield was arrested for having an outstanding warrant our of Bound Brook for $500 following a motor vehicle stop on Somerset Street. She was released after posting full cash bail.
