DWI, Marijuana Possession Arrests Made In Green Brook
Green Brook Police arrested multiple people for driving while intoxicated and marijuana possession recently.

GREEN BROOK, NJ — Green Brook Police arrested multiple people for driving while intoxicated and marijuana possession recently.

On April 2: Officers from the Green Brook Police Department observed a vehicle traveling east on Route 22 that was unable to maintain its lane. Due to their observations the officers conducted a motor vehicle stop. Due to the officers' observations during the motor vehicle stop, and the results of the subsequent field sobriety tests, the driver Schiller Mesidor, 39, of Jersey City was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Charges were also filed for 39:4-96 reckless driving, 39:4-97 careless driving, 39:4-88 traffic on marked lanes, 39:3-71 mirrors, 39:3-29 license,registration, insurance card and 39:4-92 authorized emergency vehicles.

On April 8: Officers of the Green Brook Police Department conducted a motor vehicle stop after observing a vehicle make an illegal turn. During the stop, officers detected the odor of burnt marijuana coming from the vehicle. As a result of their observations and subsequent investigation, the driver of the vehicle Christian G. Barros, 25, of Plainfield was arrested for possession of marijuana under 50 grams. He was also charged with 39:3-4 registrations and 39:4-123 right and left turns.
On April 9: Officers of the Green Brook Police Department conducted a motor vehicle stop after observing a vehicle make an illegal turn. During the stop, officers detected the odor of burnt marijuana coming from the vehicle. As a result of their observations and subsequent investigation, a passenger of the vehicle Jeffrey Gallardo, 18, of North Plainfield was arrested for possession of marijuana under 50 grams.

On April 15: Officers of the Green Brook Police Department conducted a motor vehicle stop after observing a vehicle with an equipment violation. During the stop, officers attempted to identify the operator, but could not confirm the information given by him. As a result of their investigation, the operator Roman Hernandez Castillejos, 28, of Newark was arrested for providing false identification information to the officers. He was also charged with 2C:29-3B(4) hindering apprehension, 39:3-74 obstructed view/cracked windshield, 39:3-10 unlicensed driver, 39:3-72 unsafe tires, 39:4-51B open container of alcohol in vehicle and 39:3-29 failure to posses drivers license.
On April 23: Officers from the Green Brook Police Department, responding to a report of a reckless driver, observed a vehicle traveling west on Route 22 that made an unsafe lane change. Due to their observations the officers conducted a motor vehicle stop. Due to the officer’s observations during the motor vehicle stop, and the results of the subsequent field sobriety tests, the operator Fred D. Rosser, 55, of Vauxhall was arrested for driving while intoxicated and possession of marijuana under 50 grams. He was also charged with 2c:36-2 possession of drug paraphernalia, 39:4-96 reckless driving, 39:4-97 careless driving, 39:4-88 traffic on marked lanes and 39:4-88b unsafe lane change.
